Nikoyan's reaction

The NA Ad-Hoc Committee looking into the events of March 1-2 today tried to verify the information furnished by the disbanded Fact-Finding group members Andranik Kocharyan and Seda Safaryan. They state that on March 1, 2008, some 950 military uniforms and 140 hats were given to Armenian high-ranking officials who later gave the clothes to their bodyguards and skinheads.
The names of Gagik Tsarukyan, Suren Khachatryan, Levon Sargsyan, Gagik Beglaryan, Hovik Abrahamyan, Arakel Movsesyan, Mher Sedrakyan and Samvel Alexanyan are mentioned among the disputed high-ranking officials.
Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) was the first to react to the publication. "None of Gagik Tsarukyan's acquaintances had connection with last March unrest," runs the BHK release. Others still keep silent.
It is still unknown how Mr. Tsarukyan's name appeared on the list.
